Hi! I’m Grace. I'm a multidisciplinary artist and jewelry designer based in Southeast Alaska, where mountains rise straight out of the sea and the landscape feels as wild as it is beautiful. The raw beauty of this place shapes everything I create. Fog, moss, tide lines, old forests, and shifting light find their way into my work as texture, color, and mood. My favorite color is a dark cloudy day and a sliver of light peeks out and illuminates the leaves of an alder, or a bunch of ferns. That is my favorite color.
My art lives at the intersection of the vintage Americana and Noric roots, and exudes the exuberant joy of color. In my jewelry work, I stick primarily to copper, silver, stones, and my favorite glass enamel, creating pieces that feel both vintage and modern — pieces meant to be worn, kept, and carried through life. I’m drawn to heirloom craftsmanship, the kind of beauty that comes from things being a little imperfect, a little weathered, a little real.
Southeast Alaska teaches patience, and in that practice, an attention to detail.. There is no rushing a tide, and if you do, you miss the purple starfish, the blue muscles, and the golden bull kelp. That same rhythm carries into my creative process. Each piece is made slowly and intentionally. I don’t believe in mass production or disposable design — I believe in making things that last even when they are your most reached-for pair of earrings.
My work resonates and sparks something unique within each wearer. It is a testament to my love of color, pattern, and story. Every piece is an invitation to connect and celebrate your story, outloud.
